Synopsis
This gives a brief outlook on the Heterocyclic compounds, their different synthetic procedures and their biological importance. The book gives the information about the hydrazine reactions and how these hydrazides help in the synthesis of different five-membered, six-membered, seven-membered heterocyclic rings. The medicinal activity was described along with brief literature and the structure of the active compounds showing different biological activities viz., antimicrobial, anticancer, antiviral, antimalarial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities. It is an attempt to compile the work of different therapeutic scientists at one place.
