Neck pain is a major health problem that affects 45-54% of general masses. This study has compared upper thoracic spine mobilization and mobility exercise versus upper cervical spine mobilization and stabilization exercises in treating patients with mechanical neck pain. This study provides a source of evidence of the comparative effect of upper thoracic spine mobilization with mobility exercise and upper cervical spine mobilization with stabilization exercises in reducing pain and improving function in treating patients with mechanical neck pain. This study will be a new addition to the evidence available on the effects of mobilization in treating mechanical neck pain. As majority of studies have evaluated the effect of either cervical or thoracic mobilization or the comparative effect of cervical and thoracic thrust on mechanical neck pain.
