Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Genetic variability, character association and genetic divergence studies in pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millspaugh] was studied in a set of 45 genotypes of pigeonpea grown in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications conducted at Agronomy Instructional Farm, Chimanbhai Patel College of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar during kharif season of 2017-18.The observations were recorded on twelve quantitative characters viz., days to flowering, days to maturity, plant height (cm), number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, pod length (cm), number of seeds per pod, seed yield per plant (g), test weight (g), harvest index (%), leaf area (cm2) and protein content (%).Analysis of variance revealed that significant genotypic differences was observed for all the twelve quantitative characters under study. A wide range of variation was apparent for all the characters. The wide range of variation provides ample scope for selection of superior and desired genotypes by the plant breeder for further crop. 116 pp. Englisch. N° de réf. du vendeur 9786206785637
