Synopsis

Book is of field experiment was conducted to study the effect of soilless cultivation of cucumber in polycarbonate greenhouse. The experiment was conducted in protected structure of advance polycarbonate fan and pad greenhouse for cultivation of cucumber. The experiment was laid out in large plot technique design with five replications comprising of total five treatment combinations. The five treatment consists of T1: Soilless Media (Coco-peat grow bag), T2: Soil Media, T3: Coco-peat + Soil (1:1), T4: Vermicompost + Soil (1:1), T5: Coco-peat + Vermicompost + Soil (1:1:1). Healthy seeds were sown on grow bag and soil bed at 0.60 m × 0.30 m spacing, during the month of March, 2021. Irrigation was supplied to the crop through drip irrigation system and. Cultivation practice was carried out as per recommendation. and results were shown in this book.
