It explores intellectual property within the broader framework of intellectual capital, social capital, and intangible assets, aiming to pinpoint effective strategies for addressing challenges hindering the industry's advancement. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study collected data from 250 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25 software, with a focus on testing hypotheses and addressing research inquiries. The findings underscore the significant role of intellectual property in governing China's tourism sector, serving as a pivotal moderating tool bolstered by its legal implications. Consequently, leveraging intellectual property as a governance mechanism holds promise for remedying prevalent infringements within the industry.
