Synopsis

Doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) with pulse-width modulation (PWM) control have garnered considerable attention in wind energy conversion systems (WECS) due to their ability to enhance performance and grid integration. This paper provides an in-depth examination of DFIGs with PWM control, elucidating their pivotal role in modern wind power technologies. The first paragraph focuses on the technical aspects, discussing control strategies, power quality improvement, and fault ride-through capabilities. It explores how PWM control enables efficient and precise regulation of DFIGs, optimizing power generation while ensuring grid stability. Furthermore, advancements in PWM techniques such as space vector modulation are explored, showcasing their potential to further enhance DFIG performance and reliability in WECS."The practical applications and prospects of DFIGs with PWM control is very encouraging. It discusses real-world implementations and case studies, demonstrating the efficacy of PWM-controlled DFIGs in commercial wind farms. Additionally, emerging trends such as hybrid energy systems and the integration of energy storage are examined, highlighting the evolving landscape o
