Synopsis

The book which is but a specimen that digs deep into the heroic virtues of Saint Artemide Zatti (1880-1951), an immigrant from Italy to Argentina, a religious brother belonging to the Society of St Francis de Sales (Salesians of Don Bosco, S.D.B), by offering those virtues in relation to the rich good African and Nigerian cultural practices and offering them to her people – youth and adult for integral growth. In other words, the book aims to put the reader in touch with the atmosphere, allow him or her to enter into Artemide Zatti’s horizons, become familiar with his language and vision. And consequently blending, synthesizing, comparing and relating the virtues of Zatti to those of our African society in general and particularly to our Nigerian cultural life.
