Low education status of the population, poverty, drug resistance, comorbidities, Inadequate drugs are causes that lead to drug default in maximum patients. Drug resistance leads to chronicity and reasons were patient unawareness, long duration of treatment and financial problem of the patient, symptomatic relief by anti tubercular therapy, social stigma, poor drug supply all led to high drug resistance.
