Tools: Data collection utilized three instruments: a structured interview questionnaire, an observational checklist for assessing practices, and a tool for measuring attitudes. Results: Significant improvements were observed in nurses' knowledge, practices, and attitudes pre and post-implementation of the instructional package, alongside positive correlations among these scores. Conclusion: The instructional package positively influenced the competencies of maternity nurses in caring for women during the first stage of normal labor, validating the research hypotheses.
