Neuware -This book presents a fractional-order mathematical model for malaria transmission that incorporates social hierarchy to reflect differences in exposure and access to healthcare between low- and high-class populations. The model includes detailed human and mosquito compartments and employs Caputo, Caputo-Fabrizio, and Atangana-Baleanu fractional operators to capture memory effects, delayed interventions, and immunity loss.Analysis of the model shows that key transmission drivers include mosquito-to-human and human-to-mosquito contact rates, as well as mosquito recruitment and mortality. Numerical simulations demonstrate that fractional-order dynamics influence both the speed and persistence of outbreaks, with lower fractional orders slowing epidemic growth but extending infection duration. The results revealed that socially disadvantaged populations experience significantly higher infection levels, emphasizing the role of inequality in malaria spread. The study concludes that effective control requires a combination of vector control, improved diagnosis, and expanded treatment access, particularly in low-resource settings.VDM Verlag, Dudweiler Landstraße 99, 66123 Saarbrücken 80 pp. Englisch.
