This book formerly known as Bankruptcy is a short story written by Maodun. It was written in July, 1932 and published in the first phase of the first volume of the Shanghai Declaration Monthly, and it was then enlisted into Spring Silkworms, describing the story of a small Lin family grocery shop in a small town near Shanghai before and after January 28th Incident from its struggling to manage to open to its bankruptcy.
