Synopsis
This book is a textbook teaching Chinese language and culture for high schools students in English-speaking countries and regions. The purpose of this book is to teach the basic grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and a wide range of Chinese culture of modern Chinese language (spoken and written Chinese). This textbook adopts the theme-orientation teaching method, i.e. each unit has a theme. These themes are available (close to the middle school and high school students' daily life), interesting and consistent. All content in this textbook including new words, grammar, exercises and tests are related to the theme.
