Synopsis
2012年2月，美国国会图书馆宣布将于2013年3月31日，全部采用RDA编目。RDA超越了过去的编目规则，它提供关于数字资源编目的指南，并更强调帮助用户查找、标识、选择和获得他们所需要的信息。RDA还支持书目记录的聚类，显示作品及其创建者之间的关系。RDA虽是美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚等英语国家联合开发，但由于其目标是成为国际性的资源描述与检索的内容标准，受到国际编目界的普遍关注。RDA发展联合指导委员会所著的《资源描述与检索（RDA）》中文译本，将便于国内图书馆界同仁对RDA开展研究，并促进我国编目工作的国际化、规范化和标准化发展。
