This book is a textbook for clerical script calligraphy beginners and secondary school students to learning and model on clerical script calligraphy. The rubbings of Stele of Cao Quan selected in this book are unavoidably wind damaged, but the character pattern and strokes are still very clear, retaining most of its original appearance. The character pattern is horizontally dense and vertically sparse, and the character distance is greater than the row spacing, revealing such information that regular script evolved from clerical script.
