Synopsis

This book is a reading and writing Chinese textbook aiming at teaching Chinese to foreign learners who have just begun learning it. It consists of thirty lessons. By using each Chinese character component as a unit, it enables the learners to remember the character components in an overall way, and master the rules of the characters structures. To meet the learners requirements on learning Chinese characters, it illustrates the strokes and stroke order of every character component.
