Synopsis
《江苏城市传统建筑研究系列丛书：扬州老城区民居建筑》在广泛的田野调查、实地测绘和文献研究的基础上，运用类型学、人类文化学、文化地理学的相关理论，以定性与定量结合的方法，对扬州老城区传统民居建筑遗产及其形态特征进行了系统的梳理和较为全面的总结，提出了其“形”与“制”两个层面的建筑原型。并对其特征的形成过程和在近代时期的变化现象进行了分析探讨，认为扬州传统民居建筑遗产在形成过程中存在从“合院”到“天井”的类型转变，并认为其建筑风格呈现出“南北杂糅，徽苏并举”的特征，佐证了学术界提出的“扬州传统建筑兼有南北风格特点”的观点。同时，分析了社会、经济、文化等因素对扬州老城区传统民居建筑遗产形态特征的形成与变化的作用和影响。《江苏城市传统建筑研究系列丛书：扬州老城区民居建筑》可为传统民居地方特色的研究提供一定的理论参考，亦可为扬州老城区传统民居建筑遗产的保护、修复、更新和改造等工作提供一定的信息资源。
