Synopsis
楚辞，是战国时期出现在楚国地区的一种新兴文体。作为楚辞的创始者和代表者，屈原既有伟大高尚之文学，又有伟大高尚之人格。屈原，名平，字原，是战国时期楚国人。据班固《汉书·艺文志》记载，屈原的作品有二十五篇。今流传于世署名屈原的作品，大体与此相当。本书选读的依据，既注重作品的艺术成就，又注重作品的思想内容，兼取古今学者的研究成果，但由于受到体例及篇幅的限制，故没有在文内逐一注出参考文献。
