The series is comprised of 4 books; each book consists of 20 lessons for one term or one year. Each lesson includes 5 parts: vocabulary texts explanations grammar and cultural tips.
Book 1 and Book 2 focus on traditional Chinese culture and Book 3 and Book 4 focus on present Chinese society. Accompanied with pictures and photos and explained in both simple and traditional Chinese characters pinyin and English translation the texts are interesting and practical.
