SMARAJIT GHOSH, Ph.D., is Professor, Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Thapar University, Patiala. His research interests include electric power distribution systems, automation, soft computing, expert systems, and artificial intelligence. He is also the author of Network Theory: Analysis and Synthesis and Programming in C both published by Prentice-Hall of India, New Delhi.
