His areas of research interest include power electronics as well as electrical machines and drives. M. BALASUBBA REDDY, Ph.D., is Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Prakasam Engineering College, Prakasam. His areas of research interest include power electronics as well as electrical machines and drives. S. SIVANAGARAJU, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. A winner of two national awards from the Institution of Engineers (India), Dr. Sivanagaraju has authored a number of books on electrical and electronics engineering. He also has to his credit a large number of papers published in reputed journals and presented in major conferences.
