À propos de l'auteur

N. G. Ravichandra, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, University of Agricultural Sciences, Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra, Bangalore. He has long-time experience in teaching, research and extension activities in the field of Plant Pathology and Plant Nematology. He has over 129 scientific publications to his credit in national and international journals. He has authored a textbook entitled "Plant Nematology". He is guiding M.Sc. (Agri.) and Ph.D. students specializing in Nematology. He is also an active life member for several professional societies including Nematology Society of India, Indian Phytopathological Society, Society of Mycology & Plant Pathology, National Environmental Science Academy and Institute of Agricultural Technology. Dr. Ravichandra has served as Principal Investigator/Co-Principal Investigator in several research projects funded by DBT and ICAR. He was involved in developing six technologies for the management of root-knot nematodes infecting tomato, brinjal and rice which have been included in Package of Practices of University of Agricultural Sciences (Bangalore) for their use by the farmers.
