This book attempts to present some of the supreme attributes of Baba like modesty, humility, egolessness, forgiveness, calmness, disinterestedness, in material pursuits, charity, benevolence, control of mind and body, selfless service, compassion for all (human beings as well as animals), and so on. These Godly qualities endeared Him to one and all. The author tries to describe these quintessential traits, which should be developed in order to transverse the path of spirituality. This book will help Sai devotees to get attuned to the external nature of the message of Sai, which will enable them to achieve self-realization.

S.C. Panda is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (Assam-Meghalaya cadre) OF 1981 Batch. He is a Post Graduate in Political Science from Utkal University, Odisha, his M.Phil in Public Administration from Punjab University, and MBA (Public Services) from the University of Birmingham, UK. Prior to joining the IAS, he was in IPS (Uttar Predesh cadre) and received the President's Gold Medal for his brilliant performance during training at the National Civil Defence College, Nagpur. He was awarded the President's Silver Medal for his outstanding performance as DC, Karimgani, Assam. At present he is posted in the Ministry of Home Affairs as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser. He is associated with the Sai movement since 1995 and under the inspiration of revered Guruji Shri C.B. Satpathy, he was involved in the construction of Shirdi Sai temple at Tankapani raod, Bhubaneshwar. He has been regularly contributing articles on Shirdi Sai Baba to Odia and English magazines and has authored two books 'Shiridara Sai Baba' and 'Sai Sandesh in Odia'.
