The Parsi came from Persia, Mohammadans from Arabs, Portuguese (Vasco Da Gama) Landed at Calicut, English came here towards the close of the reign of Queen Elizabeth. Other European nations came to India in smaller numbers, as the Dutch, French and Danes.
