À propos de l'auteur

Shivendra Vikram Singh began his academic pursuits with an interest in the "hard problem of consciousness". He initially prepared for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) but shifted his focus to research at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and has been associated with Panjab University. His work is deeply personal, stemming from a struggle with mental health issues and a desire to understand the nature of self. He credits Dr. Alok Bajpai as his "guru" for introducing him to the scientific study of the brain and mind. His research bridges Indian grammatical philosophy (specifically Bhartṛhari’s Vākyapadīya) and Western philosophical and scientific theories. He explores how language and thought are inseparable and how medication can alter thinking. He has completed several certifications in cognitive processes, psychology, and psychiatry from institutions like IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras.
