Banerjee - listed twice in the Dictionary of International Biography (a biographical record of contemporary achievement), Cambridge, England- realised his calling for the first time when Ruskin Bond sent his interviews, among other write-ups done by him, to Boston University's Special Collection Library. Since then, true to his calling, he has interviewed several well-known writers and artistes, many of whom have been published in major dailies
