The Arise Arjuna Foundation was established to disseminate the timeless knowledge of the Vedas and other ancient texts to modern-day Arjunas-individuals navigating today's world. We believe that the thoughtful and methodical application of this wisdom can enhance the quality of individual lives and contribute positively to society as a whole. Just as the cumulative application of science and technology has transformed material aspects of life, Vedic knowledge-approached through observation and experiential practice-has the potential to enrich spiritual well-being and deepen one's sense of purpose and meaning in life. For centuries, this profound wisdom has been practiced by only a small segment of the population. Our aim is to make it accessible and relevant within a modern context, so that many more can benefit from it. Individuals may apply this knowledge while fully maintaining their own religious beliefs and continuing to participate in their respective houses of worship. The Arise Arjuna Foundation does not seek to alter or replace anyone's religious faith or practices. Rather, it offers insights into understanding how we function as human beings-both individually and collectively-without religious imposition. The Foundation is committed to encouraging the broad and practical application of this knowledge. The Arise Arjuna Blog explores a variety of themes and topics that may be of interest to those seeking greater clarity, balance, and understanding in life. Arise Arjuna Foundation is a non-profit organization and does not seek or accept funding. Our contributors prefer to remain anonymous, serving solely as messengers who strive to faithfully transmit the invaluable gift bestowed upon humanity by ancient Sages and Seers of Truth-the sacred knowledge of how to live wisely, ethically, and fully as human beings.

Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. The Salt Holocaust: Britain's Forgotten Genocide in India (1757-1947) makes the case that British colonial rule was not merely exploitative but genocidal. Drawing on economic history, colonial records, and famine data, it traces how a land that produced roughly a quarter of the world's wealth in 1700 was systematically drained over two centuries. At its heart is the salt monopoly - laws that taxed a life-sustaining necessity beyond the reach of the poor - and the famines that killed an estimated 60 million Indians while grain was exported and relief withheld. Marshalling evidence from British administrators' own admissions, the book argues these deaths were the predictable result of policy, not accident. Part history and part indictment, it asks readers to remember a catastrophe that has been largely erased from the record. This item is printed on demand.
