Synopsis
This text provides ready-made results for immediate application for both time dependent and time independent systems at the classical and quantum mechanics levels. Topics discussed at length include: construction of invariants in the classical domain and the solution of the Schrodinger equation for such potentials in the quantum domain. Other topics, such as Berry's phase, classical and quantum chaos, group and field-theoretic aspects and extension of the results derived for 2-D to the case of the corresponding 3-D systems, are discussed briefly as part of a chapter or an appendix.
