Deleterious impacts of UV-B irradiance individually and in combination with certain plant growth regulations PGRS on seed germination and seedling growth patterns. 4. Effects of UV-B irradiance alone and along with certain plant growth regulators on growth patterns. 5. UV-B irradiance induced deleterious effects individually and in combination of different plant growth regulators PGRs on the productivity and biomass partitioning. 6. Deleterious impacts of UV-B alone an alongwith certain plant growth regulators, on some physiological and biological aspects. 7. Discussion. 8. Summary. References. Index. The purpose of this book is to summarize the basic concept of electromagnetic radiation coming from the sun and how UV-B radiation affects plants at morphological anatomical and biochemical levels. Authors have contributed their findings of various deleterious effects of UVB on two varieties of Brassica sps Mustard plant with relevant data and graphs. The book also describes the role of plant growth hormones at various levels and the important role played by these PGRs to overcome the negative impacts caused by ultraviolet radiation. We earnestly believe that the book will be a valuably kit for postgraduate and research students. (jacket). N° de réf. du vendeur 109775
