D. K. Das is an Indian academic author whose works span environmental economics, development studies, finance, and applied sciences. He is best known for co‑authoring the textbook Environmental Economics and Development (2004, Deep & Deep Publications) with J. K. Singh. He has also written on financial sector reforms and contributed to applied research in agriculture and environment.
