Training is one of the essential operative functions of human resource management. It is a planned and systematic procedure by which non-managerial personnel acquire technical knowledge and skills to perform their present jobs effectively and efficiently. Dr. Prabhjot Kaur received her Ph.D. in management from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Currently, she is pursuing post-doctoral research (funded by ICSSR, New Delhi) from University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has published articles in national and international journals and presented papers at several national and international conferences including Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. Her areas of specialization include organizational behaviour, research methodology and human resource management.
