In 1996 he went to the U.K. on a British Chevening scholarship, from where he did his LL.M. in Human Rights Law from the University of of Nottingham. He has written extensively on legal and non-legal subjects for various newspapers and magazines, and has authored several books, both non-fiction as well as fiction.
