About The Author:- Dr. R.M. Pal taught English at Rajdhani College in the University of Delhi. He has been closely associated with the Radical Humanist Movement and was personally close to M.N. Roy and Evelyn Roy. He was honorary editor of The Radical Humanist and is the editor of the P.U.C.L. Bulletin. He has edited Selections from 'The Marxian Way' and 'The Humanist Way' (1999) and co-edited Protection of Human Rights: A Critique (1991), and Human Rights of Dalits (2001). He has also published several articles on M.N. Roy and on the subject of human rights.Meera Verma studied at the Universities of Delhi and Warwick and was Reader in the Department of Political Science, Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi. She has co-edited a journal Perspectives and a book Essays on Indian Government and Politics-A Continuing Debate (2004).
