He has thirty-five years of teaching experience, and over 23 years of research experience in the fields of Entomology, Toxicology, Ecophysiology, Histology and Environmental Biology. He has published more than 40 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has guided 11 M.Phil. scholars and 8 Ph.D. scholars. He is Associate Editor, Fraseria, South Asian Bulletin of Odonatology (affiliated to Odonatologica, Netherlands).
