Hardcover. Etat : New. Etat de la jaquette : New. 1st Edition. The Pali grammar has been broadly divided into Fourteen chapters. The book is meant for beginners and scholars. The present work is an entirely new effort based on the same principle of teaching grammar, using a gradually expanded controlled vocabulary selected on the basis of types frequently occurring in the language. Cases, compound verbs and pronouns are introduced one by one with examples, exercises in sentence formation with present, past, future tense, singular and plural, verb, whose in a grammatical forms such as the gerund and the infinitive, which are very frequent in the language, are soon introduced to enable the student to form longer and more complex sentences. Once the student has mastered the basic structure, other grammatical and syntactical forms are taught one by one following the principle of introducing forms which bear a similarity in morphology to those already learnt. Present the translation in English from into Pali and Pali from into English in the chapters I, therefore, believe that it will receive enthusiastically by scholars and students of the Buddhism all over the world.
