Biographie de l'auteur

Vijay Raghavan has been a professional journalist for three and a half decades. Starting in 1972, he has worked in newspapers in the four metropolises: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. He has worked for four major newspaper groups: Indian Express, Anandabazar Patrika, The Hindu and Times of India. He has been a business journalist since 1975, but has covered politics too, including the Lok Sabha between 1985 and 1988. He was editor of the website chennaionline.com and has helped launched Indian language websites like webulagam.com and weblokam.com. For five years, he wrote a weekly humour column called Cross Connections in Business Standard, the financial newspaper of the Anandabazar Patrika group. For four years, he wrote a weekly column on the editorial page of The Hindu called A look at the economy .
