She is actively engaged in teaching, training, research, editing and consultancy. Presently, she is engaged as Professor in Kalyani University, West Bengal. Throughout her career she has been associated with many famous educational and research institutions in India and abroad. She has organized many national seminars and participated in many national and international conferences. She is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards and a fellowship at national level and is also an honorary member in the advisory member in the advisory board of many educational institutions.
