Efforts have been made for a wide coverage along with in depth analysis where needed. A special section has been discussed in each chapter to increase the interest of the subject. Secondly, each chapter includes several thought provoking questions with answers that are generally not found in text books. This will increase the interest of the student and help him in better preparation for the examinations also. Third, but not the last, a handful of multiple choice questions and their answers have been provided to help students in competitive examinations. Care has been taken to minimize repetition in text and the question sections. Therefore these sections also provide additional information over the text matter.
