Have you ever wondered why you sit in a job you hate, live with a partner you can't stand anymore and keep thinking that things will eventually change? Through an enchanting tale of a woman who stumbles upon a hut by the side of the road on one of her journeys and the people she meets inside, Drops of Being explores the psychological impact of our daily lives on us as humans and how people all over the world at large are suffering from not being able to use their inherent talents as they are stuck with having to pay the monthly bills. What if each person were able to use what he or she is most interested in to actually earn a living? But the picture is bigger, for this fictional tale embraces the story of a woman who is actually living in another age, which is our age, before the time of 'The Great Change'. Here the reader is being warned of what may happen if the world does not wake up to see what humanity as a race is doing to our Mother Earth, without whom we simply could not exist. Many parallels of mind are explored as we look in to the woman's conscious, sub-conscious and deepest layers of her mind to understand how the mind works on different levels simultaneously.

Susan Griffith-Jones set out from her home country of England to explore the world as soon as she left school. Having travelled throughout Europe, she first settled in Italy for several years and then Russia, after which time she started a family. After a short time in the UK to get her babies on their feet, she moved to Holland and then back to Italy again. It was during these years that she learned much about the world around her, through doing both menial work and high flying business jobs as well as her experience with raising a family. Her direction of life turned around during her mid-twenties when she embraced the spiritual path as the most meaningful way to progress in life. To explore this further, she moved to Nepal with her family in 2001 and studied the Vajrayana path of Tibetan Buddhism with many great masters there. In 2007, she transferred her residence to India and now lives in the secluded shadow of the pine forests of the great Himalayan ranges where she enjoys photography, film-making and writing. Her passion for travel continues and every year she makes a trip to another part of the world to be amongst people in their homelands.
