Synopsis

At the end of the day, what does an individual seek within? Is it wealth, fame, power, or one's own identity? The corporate world and its atrocities; empty nests and the consequent loneliness; unusual career choices and the discord, divorce and its aftermath—various contemporary issues are portrayed. This book is a collection of verses written as reflections on life, as if it were a large, gleaming mirror where a reader would see their own reflection, just like the poetess could do so herself. "IN BETWEEN THE LINES" by Brinda Roy centers around human beings, and not just men or women, as the main protagonists.
