Voici le second volume de Fashion Patternmaking Techniques qui analyse les différentes façons de transformer un corsage à l'aide de pinces, et qui montre diverses techniques pour créer des volumes, des drapés et des coupes ajustées. L'ouvrage inclus des instructions pour la création : de patrons en tricot et des éléments de base d'une robe, expliquant comment les adapter en fonction du tissu et du style souhaité (par exemple, une robe de grossesse) ; des manches et éléments de base des gilets et vestes d'homme. Le livre indique également comment calculer la taille d'un haut et d'une robe, ainsi que les bases de l'élaboration de patrons de coupe. Le guide prépare le lecteur de façon qu'il puisse ensuite appliquer ces concepts en fonction de sa propre intuition et créativité, afin d'élaborer des patrons.
Antonio Donnanno fait son apprentissage comme tailleur dans l'atelier familial. Licencié en philosophie et en histoire, il décide de se consacrer à l'enseignement de l'histoire du vêtement et des techniques des modélistes. Il fonde en 1982 la célèbre Euromode School Italia de Bergame qui se développe rapidement et acquiert une renommée mondiale. Antonio Donnanno a écrit de nombreux ouvrages consacrés à la mode et dirige son propre cabinet conseil axé sur la création de patrons et la gestion d'entreprise.
L'illustratrice Elisabetta Kuky Drudi est également l'auteur du best-seller de Promopress " Fashion Details ". Elle travaille actuellement comme créatrice pour différentes entreprises de mode internationales.

Antonio Donnanno began his career in his family's tailor shop and later, after majoring in history and philosophy, focused on the teaching of costume history and patternmaking techniques. In 1982, he founded the acknowledged Euromode School Italia in Bergamo, which soon expanded with new branches on the international stage and where, alongside his teaching duties, Donnanno also serves as director. Donnanno has written dozens of books about fashion and has his own consulting firm, focusing on patternmaking and business. As a consultant, illustrator and stylist for different fashion companies, Elisabetta Kuky Drudi has planned and organized fashion shows and collections on an international level. She is also the author of bestsellers such as "Fashion Details: 4000 Drawings", "Figure Drawing for Fashion Design" and "Figure Drawing for Men's Fashion". Currently she designs for various international fashion houses.
