Wang Shaoqiang est professeur et superviseur d'études à l'École des Beaux-arts de Guangzhou (Chine). Il s'agit d'un rédacteur en chef prolifique dont les travaux se concentrent sur le design international, l'architecture, la stratégie de marque, la communication, les tendances et la culture. M. Wang est également directeur du musée d'art de Guangdong et professeur et directeur de thèse à la Faculté d'Arts et de Sciences sociales de l'Université de Sciences et de Technologie de Macau.

He is a prolific editor whose works focus on international design, architecture, branding, communication, trends and culture. He is also the editor of Design 360 magazine and Asia-Pacific Design. He has been invited to lecture at numerous universities, design academies and organisations, and he has also been a jury member for China's most prestigious design and illustration awards.
