À propos de l'auteur

Carlos Pazos (Barcelona, 1949). In 1970 he has his first exhibition in Barcelona, featuring mainly drawings. In 1976 he travels to New York for the first time, where he keeps going back, and stays for long periods of time. In 2004, Pazos is awarded the Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas for the originality and the personality of his oeuvre, related to kitsch aesthetics and the poetics of the object. In addition we have taken into consideration the subtle and intelligently provocative humour of his works.
