First of a series of publications of Danish archaeological excavations on the island of Failaka in Kuwait from 1958 to 1963. The terracotta figurines and moulds treated in this book were excavated from 1958-62, including nude female figurines, horsemen, models of boats, animal statuettes, man's head and a relief plaque, all classified as Oriental types. Profusely illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs and an extensive diagram of finds and find-spots at rear. Contains notes, abbreviations and bibliography at rear.
