Dr Diaa-Eldin A. Mansour was born in Tanta, Egypt on 31 December 1978. He received BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt, in 2000 and 2004, respectively, and a PhD in electrical engineering from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan in 2010. Since 2000, he has been with the Department of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Egypt, working as an instructor from 2000 to 2005, assistant lecturer from 2005 to 2010, assistant professor from 2010 to 2015, and associate professor from 2015 to 2020. Dr Mansour is currently working as a full professor in the Department of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Egypt. From 2010, he was a foreign researcher for three months at EcoTopia Science Institute, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan. His research interests are high voltage engineering, renewable energy systems, microgrids and smart grids. He twice received the best presentation award from IEE of Japan in 2008 and 2009, Professor Khalifa's Prize from the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in 2013, Tanta University Encouragement Award in 2017, State Encouragement Award in 2018, and Tanta University Citations Award in 2021. Dr Mansour is currently serving as an associate editor for Alexandria Engineering Journal - Elsevier and as a guest editor for a special issue in Energies. He has published more than 100 scientific papers in international journals and conferences and three book chapters. In addition, he has participated in more than 30 international conferences. He was also a reviewer for 20 international journals for IEEE, IET, Elsevier, and Springer Nature.




Dr Mohamed Gamal Hussien received BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Egypt in 2011 and 2016, respectively. In 2020, he received a PhD from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. Dr Hussien is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt. He has published scientific papers in both international conferences and high-quality SCI journals. He is currently serving as an Editorial Board Member for the International Research Journal of Innovations in Engineering and Technology - IRJIET. He has been serving as a reviewer for IEEE conferences and many IEEE journals (including IEEE Access and IEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics and IEEE Trans. on Power Electronics). He is a member of the IEEE-IES Electric Machines Technical Committee and the IEEE-IES Technical Committee on Renewable Energy Systems. His paper has been selected as one of the best papers published in the period (2019-2020) in the IEEE Trans. on Energy Conversion in the power generations systems and grid interfaces area. Dr Hussien is currently serving as a Guest Editor for a special issue in Energies and IET Renewable Power Generation. Moreover, he is presently serving as one of the organizers for a special session in the 13th Edition of the IEEE International Symposium on Diagnostics for Electric Machines, Power Electronics and Drives (SDEMPED 2021). His research interests are electrical machines analysis, electrical drives, electric vehicles, sensorless control, doubly-fed machines, power electronics, and renewable energy systems.




Dr Partha Sarathi Subudhi, (M'15-SM' 21 IEEE) completed his Bachelor's degree in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, India in 2012 and Master of Technology in Power Electronics and Drives from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India in 2015. He then went on to a full-time PhD with the School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) from 2015 to 2020. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics, Faculty of Engineering and Architectures, Nisantasi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Dr Subudhi is an Editor of International Journal of Power and Energy Systems, Acta Press, and a Guest Editor for River Publishers. He is an active member of IEEE PELS. He is a member of the IEEE Technical Committee (TC 9) on Wireless Power Transfer Systems. He is also a member of IEEE Technical Committee (TC 12) on Energy Access and Off-Grid System and a member of the IEEE PELS Educational Videos Committee. He is a life member of IEANG. His field of interest includes Power Electronics Converters, Wireless Power Transfer, Electric Vehicle Charger, Residential Nano Grid, Solar Power Generation System, Hybrid Converters and their applications.
