Synopsis

Free your mind from the stress of overweight and the futility of slimming diets. Learn the sweet taste of mindfulness to stop using food to solve emotional problems. Learn to open yourself to the sensuousness of eating in order to combat the senselessness of overeating. Weight loss with wisdom is based on Eastern breathing meditation and Western mindfulness psychology. It takes a few minutes a day to get started, and anyone can do it. It can change your life and regulate your body weight without deprivation and calorie counting. And reduce and prevent stress in your life into the bargain. Written by a pair of Scandinavian experts on nutrition and the psychology of eating problems, MINDFUL EATING AWARENESS is stuffed with very concrete and clear-sighted guidelines to relieve all degrees of overeating, even severe levels of binge eating. You learn how to turn your eating-autopilot off and your mindfulness on, time and again, reconnecting to your inner natural eating and fullness regulation. How to accept eating in a slow, very sensuously enjoyable tempo by using your breath. And avoid reacting blindly to the first signals of stomach hunger and difficult emotions, but clearly distinguish between physical and psychological hunger before eating. This is a self-help-book that provides solutions to problems with overeating due to stress and the eating on autopilot that has become a common way to eat in our hectic part of the world. Bring your mindful awareness to the table and taste the big difference. MINDFUL EATING AWARENESS can bring wisdom and loving self-care into the way you eat.
