Il suo pronipote Gabriele fissa ora i lavori in corso, lo sguardo perso sulle antiche murature riscoperte e sui monumenti tornati alla luce. Sono quelli della storia di più di tre secoli di costrizione e poggiano su strutture antiche, quelle che duemila anni fa facevano da corona al circo Flaminio.
