Luciano Garibaldi wrote for the weekly magazine Tempo from 1958 to 1968. In 1964, he covered for several newspapers (Il Giornale di Sicilia, Il Giornale di Brescia, and Il Corriere Mercantile) the first historic reconstruction of the attempt on Hitlers life on July 20, 1944; he interviewed survivors of the event in Germany, including the President of the Federal Republic. Garibaldi currently contributes to the magazines Studi Cattolici, Cammino, and Storia Illustrata and is the editor of the monthly Processoalla Storia. His books on the history of Italy include: The Other Italian: Edgardo Sogno, Mussolinis Women Soldiers, The War is (Not) Lost, The Tragedy of Armir, and The Encyclopaedia of Fascism (all Milan). For White Star Publishers he edited A Century of Wars (2000). He lives in Milan. Simonetta Garibaldi earned her university degree with honors in Modern Literature. She has contributed to numerous newspapers and periodicals, including Corriere Mercantile, La Notte, Fortune Italia, Master, Yacht Digest, Yacht Capital, Natural, Mix Magazine, and Fogli. She has coauthored several books, including: Enciclopedia del Fascismo (with Luciano Garibaldi; Editrice Portoria), Portofino amore mio: mille anni in piazzetta (with Mario Oriani and Luciano Garibald; Orme Editori), and De Ferrari (Editore, Genova).
