Etat : Sehr gut. Original softcover binding with dust jacket, 566 pages, 196 b/w plates, very good condition. In depth study about the Kumbum of Gyantse in South Tibet, on its history as well as iconography. Excellent and unsurpassed. The 1994 publication by the same authors published by Serindia has the colour illustrations hereto (as well as a Chinese coffee table book published briefly afterwards), but much less detailed text. After Tucci`s 3 volume study on Gyantse published in 1941 the first (and still only) serious book on the topic. Out of print and now very hard to find. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 1300.
