Synopsis
La storia ritorna, nuova e con prospettive tutte da decifrare. L'accordo fra Sauber e Alfa Romeo riporta sullo scenario del Campionato del Mondo di Formula 1 un nome che per molto tempo è stato parte integrante del massimo Campionato. Il primo ricordo va alle stagioni iridate 1950-1951 scandite dal rosso delle vetture della Casa del Portello. Poi ecco arrivare i giorni di Chiti, dell'Autodelta, dell'accordo con la Brabham, sino al rientro del Biscione in F1 con l'Alfa-Alfa. Il libro contiene questo ma anche molto altro, come le due stagioni dei primi anni Settanta targate McLaren e March, il fallimento sul nascere della partnership con la Ligier, le sporadiche apparizioni, specie di piloti sudafricani, al volante di monoposto mosse da un motore Alfa Romeo. À propos de l'auteur
Born in Monza, for over 40 years Enrico Mapelli has followed the vicissitudes of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, firstly as an enthusiast and then as a journalist. He contributes to a number of local periodicals and has published books. For Giorgio Nada Editore he has written I dati della Formula Uno and Ferrari's World Champions. The cars that beat the world, as well as having contributed to many other works published by the company. He has been the speaker at the Autodromo for many events, especially historic car races including the InterEuropa Cup Formula 1 GP.
