This new book from Mediane is a tribute to the entire cinematic works of one of the most important authors in the 20th Century, Pier Paolo Pasolini. As a poet, novelist, scriptwriter, author, literary critic, essay writer and polemicist, Pasolini was among the most controversial and provocative figures ever to have had an impact on the national and international cinema community. He was among the few that focused more on the subject matter rather than the filmmaking itself, and in this way he brought the evolution of Italian society to the silver screen. Pasolini's on-the-edge lifestyle led him to stand up against the stereotyping and categorising, which was rife in the industry of the time. The book includes a selection of rare on-set and behind-the-scenes photographs of Pasolini, plus the original posters of his movies, along with a complete filmography.
